Re:Work
“RE:WORK, making place for industry, logistics and wholesale in Brussels” was a master class built around the theme of the urban economy and - in particular - the relationship between living and working. The borders of the Brussels Region are not unlimited, so thought must be given to the best way to bring functions together that have been separated in the past. The participating students and young European architects were invited to consider five sites with a very specific urban typology. The proposals of the different teams and the mentors' point of view inspired complex and relevant considerations, an inspiration for the discussions around the different planning instruments in place (GDPO, GBP).
